The 3rd Zürich Saturday Style Ride is approaching and we look forward to welcome the stylish cyclist from 2pm on at Heureka/Zürichhorn. 111 starting numbers will be handed out. First come - first serve. Only participants with a starting number are in the run for this year's prizes. Admission is free - just make sure you are dressed to the nines!
WHAT IS IT? A stylish cycle ride for people who enjoy fashion, cycling and life. No political meaning attached, though you are free to view it that way. But please keep this as your private pleasure. We are not there to demonstrate against anything. Saturday Style Ride is a zero-budget event living on the support of the style and cycle community in and around Zürich.
WHERE DO WE GO? We will tour the town of Zurich in loose groups, stopping on half-route at Colombo La Famiglia in Hürlimann-Areal / Brandschenkestrasse (late joiners can jump in there) for a refreshment and will then cycle to 25hours Hotel Zürich West, where drinks and some light foods will be available. Here's the estimated route (depending on traffic situation).
WHAT IS THERE TO WIN? A golden bicycle by Bella Ciao, a sporty watch by Maurice de Mauriac, a weekend for two in the funkiest hotel in town, a handlebar-bag, a pocket-watch and so on ... see the full list of prizes in this link here. The jury is tough and demanding!
WHO CAN JOIN? Virtually anyone on two wheels or, if disabled, on three wheels, without motors (or low electric power). We usually attract well-dressed gentlemen, but since this has become talk-of-town, we see more and more women joining the ride - and we love that. Couples can win a special prize this year...
