Custom made heroes

There is a whole new movement of young bicycle enthousiasts building up small brands by reworking old classic bikes into new one-off custom made beauties.

We already love DUCKCYCLE since quite a while - Manuel Flepp is a god-given specialist for old 70's race bikes which he puts back into old glory.

 Now we are also intrigued by EISENDALE, a brand set up by the very good looking and handsome Swiss male model Anthony Thornburg. Anthony is primarily on Facebook.

The 2013 route

The raods we take are scenic, urban and relaxed. No steep climbs, just rolling and enjoying with people alike. Start at Zürichhorn/Heureka, a stopover at Colombo La Famiglia, arrival at 25hours Hotel Zürich-West.

Be aware: We use public roads and roll in normal traffic. Please respect the laws and other people ahead. Stop if necessary. Don't claim any priority, be polite. Cross heavy traffic roads in smaller groups. Be sure your bike suits the law - for your outfit, there is no such demand.

On this years Tour d‘Elegance through Zürich we will do a stopover at the Hürlimann 
Areal, where design zampano Ivano Colombo will offer us some refreshment.
